Petroleum Pricing adjustment decisions for Prince Edward Island announced

Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2009:

• Gasoline prices will decrease by 1.6 cents per litre (cpl);

• There will be no change to furnace or stove oil prices;

• Other than minor tax adjustments, there will be no change to diesel prices;

• Propane prices will increase by 1.6 cpl for Superior Propane, by 1.0 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing and by 2.2 cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc.

Including taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 99.9 cpl to 102.0 cpl.

The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be on September 15, 2009.
